Consolidated synergy

The event was officially presented on Tuesday, March 17, at the headquarters of Confcommercio Vicenza, in the presence of key figures in the project's development: Pierangelo Liotto (president of ASD Team Granfondo Liotto), Roberto Pellizzari (partner of B&C Ssd a rl), Andrea Nardin (president of the Province of Vicenza); and Ernesto Boschiero (director of Confcommercio Vicenza).

The meeting thus confirmed the strength of a collaborative model that sees leading industry and institutions at the forefront , united to transform the Berici paths into an international showcase. At the heart of this organizational machine beats the heart of Cicli Liotto, a historic artisan brand that has been synonymous with Vicenza's two-wheel excellence for decades.

A strategic asset for development

For the Liotto family, this event represents the culmination of an unbreakable bond with their roots. As the owners themselves stated during the launch:

"The collaboration with Confcommercio Vicenza," the Liotto brothers explain, "is fundamental for our historic artisan company. We are deeply proud of our land and work together with the sole goal of promoting every nuance of the Vicenza province . This synergy allows us to promote not only our bicycles, but the entire cultural and economic heritage that surrounds us."

The event's focus is clearly on developing the industry. Thanks to the partnership with Confcommercio and the Easyvi.it portal, the hospitality is structured : local bike hotels are ready to host participants with tailored services, while the Coldiretti and Campagna Amica network transforms refreshment points into true zero-mile experiential stops, with the finishing touch provided by Locanda Trentin. Not only scenic beauty but also true culinary gems of tradition featuring local products.

Between springs and old trenches

The program, therefore, reflects this double soul, suspended between challenge and discovery. On Saturday 28th March the adrenaline will rise with the Aquila Gravel Race, a competitive event valid for the ACSI National Championship at Lake Fimon. On Sunday 29th, however, the atmosphere will become more relaxed with the Gravel Ride, limited to 500 participants to ensure a high-quality experience.

There are three routes designed to live this experience in the Vicenza area: from the 60 km of the “Le Risorgive” route, ideal for those seeking the tranquility of natural oases, to the 100 km of the “Ortogonale” among war artefacts, up to the 130 km of the epic “La Grande Guerra” itinerary towards the Piccole DolomitiEach pedal stroke will converge in the inevitable passage in the Palladian heart of Vicenza, confirming how Aquila Gravel 2026 is a winning business model, capable of generating real economic value starting from the passion for two wheels.
