They're from Great Britain, they love each other, and they share a passion: cycling. Their names are Amy and Kyle Hudson , and they have one goal: to set a new record for cycling around the world as a couple. The current record stands at 204 days. Amy and Kyle want to break it with a truly worthy motivation: to raise funds for Shout , an organization dedicated to supporting mental health. Santini will provide them with versatile, high-performance technical kit, essential for tackling the diverse climates and conditions Amy and Kyle will encounter on their long bicycle journey.
Thanks to the lockdown
Covid has changed all of our lives, including Amy's. During a particularly challenging time for her, Kyle decided to give her a bike. It was a turning point, as pedal after pedal, Amy regained balance and strength. From there, her journey as a content creator began (on Instagram , @amy.cycling.adventures, she has over 100.000 followers), always with a clear message: sport, and cycling in particular, as a tool for self-care. The world tour project represents the natural evolution of this journey. Amy herself explains it.
“The idea was born during a bike ride from Venice to Derby, UK, but it really took shape in August 2025, when I completed my Tour de France Challenge .”
In 2025, Amy covered 6.556 km in 29 days, tackling all 21 stages of the Tour de France and the related transfers between stages. A challenge that allowed her to raise a whopping £93.000 for Shout.
Here is Santini
Tackling a round-the-world bike ride certainly requires courage, a touch of recklessness, a lot of training, but also the right clothing. On this last point, Amy and Kyle can count on the support of a reliable technical partner like Santini, who has created a dedicated kit for them . Following the shooting star
The jersey's design is inspired by shooting stars. During the 2023 Paris-Brest-Paris , their first major endurance challenge as a team, Amy began suffering from saddle soreness towards the finish line. It was then that they saw a shooting star, an image that gave them the push to continue until the finish . Since then, the shooting star has become a symbol of hope and resilience for them, a call to continue the journey even when the road gets tough.

As mentioned, the current record for a two-person world tour by bike is 204 days. Amy and Kyle expect to complete their trip in between 150 and 170 days . The itinerary starts in France and continues through the following countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Canada, the United States, Portugal, and Spain.
