From next May 20th Funivia Bormio Active Hotel inaugurates the summer season, with many exciting new features for both tourist accommodation and sports enthusiasts in general. Designed and followed by cyclists
Elisa Bonacorsi, owner and director of the Funivia Bormio Active Hotel, and her husband Daniele Schena, also known as Stelvioman, bike manager and expert guide, they wanted to face the new season with many new features looking to the future of cycling.
"When we started," Daniele Schena tells us, "we took inspiration from the market at the time, gradually introducing the innovations and details that have made us stand out . The climbs that surround us ( Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo , ed.) need no introduction; we focused on providing customers with a detailed service."

The evolution
Over time, the bicycle and the market that revolves around it have evolved, this is because new scenarios and events have opened up. It's no longer just about Road, now the gravel it's a strong reality in these parts too.

The events will start in May, with climbs closed to traffic thanks to the initiative Enjoy Stelvio Valtellina. Then there will be Santini Stelvio on 7 and 8 June, an event that will kick off a series of events that will continue until September. All that's left to do is stay connected and explore them together, pedal stroke after pedal stroke.
