It is often said that some bicycles, particularly cared for in aesthetics or construction, are artworkThe Milanese brand Guerciotti took this definition literally and created the Ride the Art line: four limited edition bicycles, each with a unique and unrepeatable color. Barcelona and Fleur, a thousand colors for fast streets
Two of these models were already previewed at the last Italian Bike Festival in Misano, in September 2024. These are two different versions of the Eclipse S 2025 bike, one of Guerciotti's top-of-the-range road bikes, thanks to the Mitsubishi T65 UD carbon fiber that guarantees a frame weight of just 730 grams. The first limited-edition colorway is called Fleur . As the name suggests, it is a livery that recalls and brings to the frame all the colors of spring flowers , with many pastel shades that enrich a watercolor pink base.
The second is Barcelona , which pays homage to the Catalan city, its light, and its colors. Barcelona was born inspired by Gaudí's architecture and the stained-glass windows of the city's Gothic churches . The design is refined yet bold, vibrant and almost dreamlike , like the works of the great architect. The brand's logos are, almost inevitably, in the quintessential Spanish color: red.
Skull, a gravel passionate
In his Ride The Art line Guerciotti has not missed a model dedicated to lovers of gravel. Also in this case the chosen frame is the top of the range, theEscapeA dirt bike that gives a nod to the Road, thanks to the use of a monocoque ultra-high modulus carbon fiber.
In this case, the design is perhaps even more unique than the previous ones, with graphics that hark back to the famous Mexican Day of the Dead . The frame features countless colorful skulls alternating with red roses , a symbol of passion and character (just what you need to get going on dirt roads).
Descartes Starry Night, if Van Gogh had wheels
The latest of these pieces of art presented is once again a road bike, the Cartesio model in the Starry Night version . This latest offering was created to offer all the aesthetics of the Ride The Art collection to a wider audience: in fact, the Cartesio – unlike the other three – is a mid-range model . The design, however, is second to none, quite the opposite. It is inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, one of the most famous (and beloved) paintings in the entire history of art.
The dominant colors here are light blue, blue, and yellow , with the lighter down tube making the intense colors of the top tube and seat tube stand out even more. Here, the blue of the sky and the yellow of the stars blend together in the Dutch painter's signature vibrant brushstrokes.
