Maxxis updates its MaxxTerra range: now faster and more reliable

Choosing the right tires for your needs, based on your discipline and intended use, is one of the key aspects of bike setup. They represent the only point of contact with the ground, and must ensure the right balance of grip, smoothness, and reliability . This is no easy task, which is why companies work tirelessly to find the best solutions.

Maxxis has thus decided to renew its range of MaxxTerra tires, an improved and innovative generation ready to make a difference on various dirt roads, whether smooth or highly treacherous. At Maxxis, they have worked hard to take the MaxxTerra tires to the next level , and they have done so with a completely new compound.

High performance

MaxxTerra tires offer users a completely new level of quality and reliability, with the chosen compound further enhancing quality and durability . Without forgetting the essential characteristics for an off-road tire: grip and low rolling resistance.

Maxxis has succeeded in creating a product that combines durability and high-tech features. Now it's your turn to pedal and seek out new adventures. In terms of numbers, the brand's engineers have revealed a 30 percent increase in durability, while traction has increased by 15 percent.

This performance will be felt from the first ride, and will continue to be felt, pedal stroke after pedal stroke. This means more time enjoying the saddle and less time changing tires. The various MaxxTerra models, six in total, come in sizes ranging from 40 to 60 millimeters wide.

Distribution

As part of a series of ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact, the new MaxxTerra covers feature next-generation, fully recyclable packaging . The cardboard hanger is made from 75% recycled paper, and a recyclable plastic tie replaces the zip ties previously used. This continues Maxxis' innovations in this area , alongside the use of recycled materials in the construction of some cover models.

The updated compound will soon be introduced across the entire Maxxis trail tire range and will be available at Ciclo Promo Components affiliated stores, which handles the distribution of Maxxis products in Italy. The new generation MaxxTerra can be recognized by the “New MaxxTerra” graphic on the packaging , and the tag on the tire now simply says “MaxxTerra,” compared to the old version which bore the words “3C MaxxTerra.”
