Parkpre FM120: a mountain bike that combines technique and speed

Parkpre, a company founded in America in the late 80s and arrived in Italy at the beginning of this millennium, presents a new bicycle suitable for those who want to give their best off-road without compromising comfort and performance . The latest addition to Parkpre 's range is called the FM120 and is a bike with pure downcountry capabilities, a mix of features dedicated to off-road riding but also to long-distance riding.

This market innovation was made possible by the technical knowledge acquired by Parkpre technicians in creating road and mountain bike frames . Indeed, there are choices and details that correspond to both disciplines.

High-performance on any terrain

The new Parkpre FM120 has a carbon monocoque frame designed to combine speed and comfort. A series of technical features typical of the racing world, such as 120mm suspension travel and 29-inch wheels , make it a mountain bike capable of standing out on any terrain thanks to its technical aptitude.

A bike that offers agile and fast handling, even on the most technical and difficult sections, but which also provides support when seeking maximum thrust uphill or on particularly rough terrain . The frame has a truly low weight: 1955 grams, with a margin of 5 grams.

Technical details

The technical specifications of the FM120 offer useful solutions in different fields and terrains, for example the choice of a front fork with 120 mm travel allows for a consistently stable and responsive ride.

The rear triangle is designed for the use of a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger), which offers greater compatibility with different drivetrains and easy replacement in the event of a breakage.

Parkpre opted for a twelve-speed single chainring groupset, the Shimano XT with a 34-tooth chainring and a 10-51 rear cassette . The chosen tires are the Vittoria Barzo 29×2,25. Headset: 1/1-4” – 1/1-2”.
