Tesca 1, stiffness and lightness for competition
The top model of the line is what Liv has called the Tesca 1. This is a shoe designed and made for MTB competitions and gravel, where comfort is important but also performance. Therefore it uses a very rigid long-fiber carbon sole, developed directly by the company, which transfers all the watts generated by the athlete to the pedals. At the same time, however, the plate It also maintains a certain flexibility in the front part which makes it easier to put your feet on the ground.
The upper is made with a mesh base integrated with a PU film that makes the shoe robust where necessary, while still leaving plenty of ventilation , a very important combination for a model designed for performance. The Tesca 1 also uses a double Boa closure, the only one with this technology in the entire line . This ensures uniform and stable pressure across the entire foot, with the possibility of micro-adjusting both the forefoot and the area closest to the ankle.
Tesca 2 and Tesca 3, quality for all occasions
In addition to the Tesca 1, the new range also includes the Tesca 2 and Tesca 3 models. Speaking of the Tesca 2, the ergonomic design remains unchanged, including the integrated arch support that stabilizes the foot under load, ensuring perfect alignment even on long rides. Compared to its bigger sister, however, the Tesca 2 focuses more on versatility. The sole is made of a composite of nylon and short fiberglass , making it less rigid and therefore more comfortable as the hours pass in the saddle. The closure is also different, using a Boa at the top and a strap in the forefoot area , a simplified choice that still maintains good customization options.
Then there is the Tesca 3 model , which we could define as the entry level of the range . In this case, the sole is the same as the Tesca 2, meaning it is comfortable even on foot, thanks also to the Giant G2 rubber battiRoad which guarantees a consistently reliable grip . What changes in this case is the upper, in breathable microfiber, and the closure. Tesca 3 relies on a single Boa rotor, a simplified system that manages the entire stability of the foot without the additional strap. It remains a shoe with good technical content, which could be the right choice for those looking for a product with an interesting quality-price ratio.
Sizes, colors and prices
Each of the three styles that make up the new Tesca range is presented in a distinctive colour and in sizes ranging from 36 to 43.
The Tesca 1 is black with a rubber sole , and is already available on the Liv website for 210 euros . The Tesca 2 is sand-colored with black inserts, and its price is 165 euros . Finally, the version of the Tesca 3 now available on the Liv website is completely black , and presented at the price of 125 euros.
